A blue ballpoint pen study of a langur monkey drawn from two different poses - one seated and alert, gripping a branch with its tail curled beneath it, the other mid-stride with its long tail arcing upward. The loose, repeated hatching builds up fur texture without ever settling into a single fixed line, giving both figures a restless, observational quality, like they were sketched quickly from life rather than posed. Together the two studies feel less like a finished piece and more like a page of looking the same animal approached twice, from two angles, until something about it clicked.
