WORKS ON PAPER

Pour

A delicate graphite still life capturing water mid-pour into a wine glass, the stream frozen just above the surface as ripples and bubbles spread beneath it. Rendered almost entirely in light, careful pencil work with barely-there shading, the piece leans on restraint — no bold outlines, just the suggestion of glass and liquid built from subtle tonal shifts. It's a study in a fleeting moment most people wouldn't think to draw: not the glass, not the water, but the half-second between the two.
